Fraud Alert: Phone Scam Targeting Credit Union Members

Grand Altitude Federal Credit Union has been notified of a phone scam affecting members in our area.

Scammers are calling individuals and falsely claiming that fraud has been detected on their debit or credit card, or that their card has been compromised. The caller then attempts to obtain sensitive information such as card numbers, security codes, online banking credentials, or one-time verification codes.

These calls may appear to come from our main phone number, (307) 332-5151, through a tactic known as caller ID spoofing.

Please remember:

• Grand Altitude FCU will never call and ask for your card numbers, PIN, online banking password, or security verification codes.
• Do not provide personal or financial information to unsolicited callers.
• If you receive a suspicious call, hang up immediately.
